Is humour the right response to absurdity?

In this paper, Bob Plant considers Camus' scornful defiance of the absurd and Nagel's account of its origins.  He goes on to reconstruct Camus' and Nagel's positions and develop Nagel's critique of Camus in order to argue that humour is an appropriate response to absurdity.
